Gilbert M. "Gibby" Lyon
LAKE PLACID — Gilbert M. "Gibby" Lyon, age 72, of Lake Placid died unexpectedly Friday, May 10, 2013, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, N.Y. Gibby was born Dec. 16, 1940 in Saranac Lake, N.Y. He was the son of Gilbert C. and Ruth E. (Kent) Lyon. He married Maxine "Pinky" Borden on June 18, 1960 in Lake Placid, N.Y. He was predeceased by the "Love of his Life, Pinky" June 10, 2010.

HALFMOON — Roswell Orlin Bowen, 86, of RT-146, formerly of Willsboro, N.Y., beloved husband of 57 years of marriage to Marie Rose-Anne (Bergeron) Bowen of Halfmoon, peacefully entered into eternal life in the loving comfort of his family at his residence on Friday, March 8, 2013.

ADRIAN — Valorie (Aubin) Hurwitz, age 59, of Adrian, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at her home. She was born March 16, 1954, in Keene Valley, N.Y., to Richard and Helen (Conners) Aubin. On June 23, 1973, she married the love of her life Elliot H. Hurwitz, in Syracuse, N.Y. Val was an avid golfer and pool player. She was a member of the Eagles and Moose Clubs.
