CONROY - A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 from St. John's Church in Plattsburgh, N.Y. for Mary Ellen Conroy, 80, formerly of Lynde St., Plattsburgh, N.Y. who passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at the Meadowbrook Health Care Facility. Rev. William G. Reamer, pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh celebrated the Mass assisted by Deacon Jack Cogan. Altar servers were Sherm Luck, Tom Rennell and Gary Ryan. Organist was George Cantin. Family members placed the pall. Sr. Ann Conroy, CSC, her sister placed the crucifix. Kara Miller and Paige Barton, grandnieces read from scripture. Abiageal Barton, grandniece and Caleb Barton, grandnephew presented the Gifts. Pallbearers were David Curry, Stan Barton, Lucas Barton, Edward Conroy, Ralph Conroy and Chris Miller. Interment will be at a later date at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
