---- — NEWCOMB — A Long Island man was injured Monday afternoon when he lost control of his vehicle on a rural road and it overturned.
Lewis-based State Police said Stephen Spahn, 58, of North Bellmore was driving east on Blue Ride Road at 2:53 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle while driving around a curve and then struck a snowbank, causing his car to overturn.
According to Essex County Fire Control, Spahn was believed to have suffered minor injuries, though a State Police dispatcher was unsure if Spahn was transported to a local hospital.
