Evans, Leopard lead PHS swimmers

PLATTSBURGH — Matt Evans and Nate Leopard each captured three victories as Plattsburgh captured a 102-52 victory over AuSable Valley in Northern Athletic Conference boys’ swimming Tuesday.

Evans captured a solo victory in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.72. He was also part of the 200 freestyle (1:47.46) with Leopard, Cole Langlois and Nick Prenoveau, and the 400 freestyle (3:55.83) with Josh Labounty, Kenny Housrath and James Criss.

Leopard picked up wins in the 200 freestyle (2:08.34) and the 100 freestyle (54.95).

Prenoveau was a two-time winner, adding a win in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.28).

AuSable Valley was paced by Hank McCormick, who touched first in both the 100 butterfly (54.95) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.02).
