PLATTSBURGH — Brooks — A funeral service for Roger L. Brooks, 77, of Brand Hollow Road, Peru, was held Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Peru. Rev. Dr. Kenneth Parker, officiated.Words of remembrance were offered by daughter, Tammy Harrigan. Pallbearers were longtime family friends, Jim Irwin, Pat Remillard, Pete Remillard, Tim Remillard, Tom Remillard, and Steve Remillard. Committal prayers and burial followed in God's Acre Cemetery in Peru. A gathering followed at the Peru VFW Post 309. Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country, 358 Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh, NY, 12901 or the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY, 10305.
