‘Teens for Jeans’ drive to help homeless

PLATTSBURGH — Aeropostale in Champlain Centre will be hosting a “Teens for Jeans” drive from Monday, Jan. 14, through Sunday, Feb. 10, to help the estimated 1.7 million teens in the country who are homeless.

Last year, the Plattsburgh store collected 1,807 pairs of jeans, which were then donated to a local homeless shelter. All jeans collected will be donated to a local charity or shelter. As well, each person who participates will receive a 25 percent off coupon for a new pair of jeans.

Homeless shelters often have a greater need for large sizes, but the store will happily accept jeans of all sizes. All jeans should be in good condition.

All Aeropostale and P.S. from Aéropostale stores are participating in the drive.
