KEENE VALLEY — Elma Bonner, 96, of Keene Valley, died on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at the Horace Nye Nursing Home in Elizabethtown.
She was born in Saranac Lake, July 19, 1916, the daughter of Homer and Grace (Hall) Brown.
Mrs. Bonner retired from Mutual of New York Insurance Company in West Hartford, Conn. in 1972. After her retirement, she and her husband returned to Keene Valley where they remained.
She is predeceased by her husband, William; and her twin sister, Eleanor DeZalia.
Survivors include her nephew, John DeZalia of Keene Valley and his wife Jeannie and daughter, Heather; her niece Barbara LeClair of Coventry, Conn. and her husband David and their sons Michael, Mark and Brian. She also has four great-great nieces and a great-great nephew.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Norton Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by W.M. Marvin's Sons Inc. Funeral home in Elizabethtown.
