ELIZABETHTOWN — Caitlin Bridge, 27, of Clark Lane, Elizabethtown, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at her home under the care of her loving family after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Johnson City, June 2, 1985, the daughter of Christopher and Mary (Fitzgerald) Wade.
Caitlin graduated from Vestal High School, SUNY Cobleskill and attended SUNY Plattsburgh.
She loved the North Country and made the Adirondacks her home in 2009. Caitlin had great spirit and fought with everything she had, never turning down any option offered and always flashing that great smile. She had great support from her family, her northern family and her friends.
Survivors include her loving husband, Justin Bridge, who was her rock through every treatment and procedure; her parents, Chris and Mary Wade; brother and sister-in-law, Ryan and Denisse Wade; niece, Ella Maria Wade; parents-in-law, Bob and Sheila Bridge, and Laurie Davey and Teresa Cross; sister-in-laws, Jessica Bridge and Kelsey Lussier; nephew, Ashton Hathaway; and niece Kaitlyn Taylor. She was also survived by her Mexican family, Carlos and Dulce Alvarez; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will also be deeply missed by her two canine children Otis and Molly Bridge.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Jack and Pat Fitzgerald.
There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at St. Philip of Jesus Church in Willsboro with Rev. John Demo, parish pastor, celebrating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the Memorial Cemetery in Willsoboro.
