ELIZABETHTOWN — Kevin Dean Grinwis died unexpectedly Feb. 24, 2013, at his home in Elizabethtown. He was born in Plattsburgh Nov. 27, 1972, the son of Paul Grinwis and Mary Jackson Grinwis.
Kevin graduated from Elizabethtown Lewis Central School in 1991. He attended Colby College and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Cum Laude from Skidmore College in 1996. In 2006, he earned an MBA in finance from Boston University.
He worked for Cobalt Group in Seattle, Wash., Equity Residential in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Omni Development in Albany, and most recently, Egglefield Ford in Raybrook.
Kevin was a wonderful son who was most at home in the Adirondacks that he dearly loved. He will be deeply missed by his family and his many loving friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jeffrey Grinwis of Edmeston, N.Y., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
