Mary Ellen Aitner

PORT HENRY — Mary Ellen Aitner, 64, of Port Henry, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Heritage Commons Residential Healthcare of Ticonderoga. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., on July 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Thomas M. and Mary Carmel (Shea) Aitner.

Mary was a retired music teacher of Crown Point Central School. She enjoyed skiing, biking, hiking, gardening and music. She also loved to travel.

Mary is survived by her brother, Michael Aitner and his wife Lena and their family of Port Henry; her Uncle Paul Aitner and his wife, Helen of South Windsor, Conn. and several cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her parents.

No public calling hours will be held. A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.
