Henriette Bourdeau

KEESEVILLE — Henriette Bourdeau, 71, of Cedar Court, Keeseville, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving family by her side. She was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, April 25, 1941, the daughter of the late Marcel and Florence (Boucher) Pinard.

Henriette graduated from Long Lake High School and Albany Business School. She was employed with the Army Air Force Exchange Services for many years, working at Pease, Barksdale and Plattsburgh Air Force Bases. She was currently employed at the AuSable Valley Central School as a bus monitor, a position she enjoyed very much. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, but her true joy was spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph G. Bourdeau; children, Joseph Bourdeau Jr. and wife Madeleine of Rouses Point, Anne-Marie Signor and husband Mark of Keeseville, Patrick Bourdeau of Keeseville, Lisa Rizzo and husband Anthony of Mesquite, Texas; and Kim Barber and husband Clayton of Keeseville; grandchildren, Tamie Herring and husband Andy, Thomas Knowles and companion Shanda Becht, Jason Signor and wife Amy, Samantha Signor and companion Ryan Lynch, Taylore Bourdeau, Trent Bourdeau, Lorena Rizzo, Kristianna Rizzo, Clayton Barber Jr., and Kennedy Barber; great-grandchildren, Myla Knowles, Aiden Herring, and Camron Signor; sister, Diane Mazik and companion Wes Cornish; brothers, Gilles Pinard, and John Pinard and wife Judy; sisters-in-law, Mary Miller, and Tanya Frank and husband Jim; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Richard Bourdeau; granddaughter, Morgan Michelle Bourdeau; parents-in-law, Walter and Lillian Bourdeau; sister-in-law, Diane Parker; and brother-in-law, Raymond Miller.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at St. John's Church in Keeseville with Monsignor Leeward J. Poissant, parish pastor, celebrating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Friday, April 26, following a 9 a.m. Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church.
