PLATTSBURGH — Carol A. Barcomb-Reno, 53, of the Dukette Road, Plattsburgh and formerly of Keeseville, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Plattsburgh, Dec. 27, 1959 the daughter of James Sr. and Evelyn (Senecal) Barcomb. Carol grew up in Peru and attended Peru Central School.
She especially enjoyed making memories with friends and family, camping, and had recently discovered the joy of traveling. She was also a talented jewelry maker, musician, and artist.
Survivors include her four children, Margarett Christian and her husband Roland of Keeseville, Terry J. Reno and his wife Leigh-Anne of Newfane, Vt., Francis Reno and his fianc^ Denyse Haywood of Plattsburgh, and Alicia Reno of Plattsburgh; her sister, Rebecca Hamborsky and her husband Jonathan of Plattsburgh; her former spouse and father of her children, Terry D. Reno and his wife and very good friend to Carol, Delores Dolly; seven granddaughters and five grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Marie Roark and Deborah Barcomb-Oberg; and a brother, James, Jr.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan D. Shnob, parish pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the spring in St. Peters Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
Donations in her memory may be made to the family to be dispersed at their discretion. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru.
