STEVENSON RANCH, CALIF. — Loving husband, father, brother, and friend, Bruce W. Andersson, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in Stevenson Ranch, Calif.
Bruce was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Oct. 1, 1949, the son of Gosta (Gus) and Eva B. (Clark) Andersson, and grew up in Upper Jay, N.Y. He was a pre-Olympic downhill skier and avid speed skater. He graduated from Keene Central School and then from Hudson Valley College and married Charlene Keleshian.
Bruce loved and took pride in his work as a commercial contractor. He was greatly admired for his expertise in the field. Bruce's kind heart and generosity were an inspiration to his family. He lived his life with integrity and unwavering optimism.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Charlene of 31 years; daughter, Kristen; son, Erik; sister, Eva; and many loving nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral services for Bruce will be held at 1:30 Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Peter's Armenian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bruce Andersson to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org.
