LOUDONVILLE — Edwin F. Pers II, 81, of Loudonville and formerly of Plattsburgh, died Feb.14, 2013, at his home.
Ed was born March 20, 1931, in Buf falo, N.Y., to Meta and Edwin Pers.
He worked for 35 years as a field planner for NYS Electric and Gas. Ed moved to Loudonville in late 2009 with his wife Eleanor after living several years in Plattsburgh and prior to that in Clarence, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eleanor; his children, Edwin F. Pers III (Marisa), Elaine Pers Hickey (Michael), Elizabeth A. Langer (Michael) and Eric J. Pers (Viviana). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Edwin F. Pers IV, Brian and Gregory Hickey, Mathew and Daniel Langer, Sophia, Sabrina and Samantha Pers. He also leaves behind his faithful dog and companion, Peanut.
A private family memorial service will be held.
