PLATTSBURGH — Hazel M. Crary, 87, of Plattsburgh, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Fletcher Allen Healthcare Facility. She was born in Plattsburgh on May 2, 1925, the daughter of Howard Harris and Verlia (Baldwin) Harris. Hazel worked at Plattsburgh State for 51 years.
Hazel is survived by her son Howard Crary and Carol of West Palm Beach, Fla.; her daughters, Cheryl Dickerson and her husband William III of Danville, Va., Crystal Straigis and her husband Edward of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two brothers, Donald Harris of Plattsburgh, Robert Jock and his wife Charlotte of Morrisonville; two sisters, Marjorie Jock of Plattsburgh, and Sandra Farbotko of West Chazy; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Hazel is predeceased by her parents and her stepfather, George Jock.
