PLATTSBURGH — Pamela J. Wood, 54, of Abenaki Road, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at her home. She was born in Ticonderoga, N.Y. on Nov. 29, 1958, the daughter of Clifford and Sarah (LaShomb) Rock. She attended Peru Central School. Pamela married Barton A. Wood on June 20, 1992 in Peru.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and babysat for them and other children often. She also liked playing Bingo and other "games of chance".
Survivors include her husband, Bart; one daughter, Angela Foster of Plattsburgh; six brothers, Clifford Jr. and Joan Rock of Peru, Gary Rock of Keeseville, Russell Rock of Elkton Md., Raymond and Laurie Rock of Elkton, Md., Harold and Donna Rock of Village of Magog Woods, Mass., and Thomas and Tina Rock of Peru; two sisters, Linda and Greg Podany of Cameron Park, Calif. and Cindy Rock of Plattsburgh; three grandchildren, Harley Seror, Richard L. Drake III, and Hunter Cornish; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30th with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery in Peru.
