---- — MOOERS FORKS — Nora Jean Mitchell, 46, of Meseck Road in Mooers Forks, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family by her side.
She was born in Riverside, Calif. on Jan. 24, 1967, the daughter of Arnold J. and Kay (Rivers) Mitchell.
Nora graduated from Clinton Community College with an accounting degree and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, cooking and fishing.
She is survived by her fianc^ Delvin Meseck of Mooers Forks; her mother, Kay Mitchell of Plattsburgh; her siblings, Paul Sellers of Marietta, Ga., Michael and Gabrielle Sellers of Columbia, Ill., Melissa Fessette of Plattsburgh; four children, Jerry, Elizabeth, Anthony and Gerard; her grandmother, Florence Rivers of Plattsburgh; a great aunt, Mary Baker of Plattsburgh; and several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Her father, Arnold Mitchell, her grandfather, Peter Rivers, and an uncle, Donald Baker passed away earlier.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery in Mooers Forks at a later date.
