CADYVILLE — Beverly J. Favaro, 82, of Route 3, died Tuesday at Meadowbrook Nursing Facility. She was born in Saranac on March 19, 1930, the daughter of Ellis and Evelyn (Smith) Marshall. She was married to Morris "Bubby" Favaro in 1950 and enjoyed 54 years of marriage before Morris died in 2004.
Mrs. Favaro was a member of the Cadyville Wesleyan Church and the Cadyville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She worked as a cafeteria aide at the Cadyville Elementary School for several years.
Survivors include three sons, Jonathan Favaro and his wife Liz of Dawsonville, Ga., James Favaro, and Jeffrey Favaro and his wife Charlene, all of Cadyville; three daughters, Julie Spooner and her husband James of Morristown, N.Y., Jeri Lynn Favaro of White Plains, N.Y., and Jennifer Clayton and her husband Jeffrey of Louisville, Ky.; four brothers, Donald Marshall and his wife Virginia of Medford, Ore., Robert Marshall and his wife Candace of New Symrna, Fla., Mason Marshall and his wife Pabilita of Sacramento, Calif., and James Marshall and his wife Annie of Foster City, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Gilbert and Raymond Marshall; and one sister, Marilyn Wills.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at the Cadyville Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery in Saranac in the spring.
