CHAMPLAIN — Mr. Frederick W. Enders, 52, of Patricia Lane in Champlain, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at his home with family by his side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sept. 8, 1960, the son of the late Alan and Elizabeth (Canning) Enders.
Fred enjoyed bowling, painting and participated in the Special Olympics and won a medal for swimming. He also was an animal lover and especially enjoyed dogs.
He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Alan and Janice Enders of Albion, N.J., Mark and Tracey Enders of Williamstown, N.J., Karen and Randy Gullo of Plattsburgh; his aunts and uncles, Robert and Ellie Enders, Edie Middleton, and Till Canning, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Overstreet officiating. Interment will be in Berlin Cemetery in Berlin, N.J. at a later date.
