PLATTSBURGH — Cathryn "Cathy" Ann Rauch, 55, of 28 Ball Street, Plattsburgh, died on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Rhinebeck, N.Y., on April 30, 1957, the daughter of Henry A. and June (Denton) Rauch.
Cathy graduated from Lebanon High School in 1975. She attended Berkshire Community College in Massachusetts. She worked in the field of hotel and restaurant management and in the landscaping business.
She enjoyed art, traveling and spending time with family and friends in Elizabethtown. She loved the beauty of the Adirondacks. She liked most animals and enjoyed horseback riding. Her greatest passion was to spend time with people she loved.
Survivors include her brother Barry and sister-in-law Debra (Whittemore) Rauch of Keeseville, N.Y.; brother, James Rauch of Gainesville, Fla.; sister, Janet Manis and brother-in- law Andy Manis of Eustis, Fla.; four nephews, Sean Rauch, Orion Manis, Matthew Rauch and Travis Manis; and two nieces, Jamie Lynn Rauch and Claire Rauch.
Burial will be in the spring in the Lewis cemetery. A memorial service will be held in June at the First Congregational Church in Lewis, N.Y. Arrangements are in the care of W.M. Marvin's Funeral Home, Court St., Elizabethtown.
