WEST CHAZY — Francis M. Ladue, Sr., 64, of O'Neil Road, West Chazy, NY passed away on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Mooers, N.Y., on Dec. 13, 1947, the son of Maynard and Loretta (Chagnon) Ladue.
Francis worked at Imperial Wall Covering in Plattsburgh, and at Wyeth Pharmaceutical in Rouses Point, retiring in2010. Most recently he had been working part time at Advance Auto Parts in Plattsburgh.
Francis enjoyed racing at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh and Napierville in Quebec.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Francis Ladue Jr.; a sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Michael Silvers; and a brother-in-law, Shannon Carter.
Francis is survived by his wife 40 years, Roberta Ladue; four children, Randy Ladue and his wife Amy of Sciota, Cheryl Ladue of West Chazy, Tina Bushey and her husband Shane of Plattsburgh and Christy Ladue and her companion Jordan Paolini; nine grandchildren; five sisters, Lorena, Pam, Mary, Susie, Tammy; three brothers, Maynard Jr., Gerald and Jimmy; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday Nov. 12, at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
