PLATTSBURGH — Anna T. Lima, 86, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., passed away Thursday night, March 7, 2013, at CVPH Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., July 29, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Aiello Lima.
Anna worked as a nurse's aide at CVPH and later in the housekeeping department at Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone for many years. She retired in 1991. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Vicky Maloney of Brushton, Thomas and Carmen Maloney of Constable, Robert and Mary Ellen Maloney of Malone, and Timothy and Susan Maloney of Schuyler Falls; one daughter, Linda Maloney of Malone; several grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by six brothers, Salvatore, James, Adolph, Joseph, Wesley, and John Lima; and three sisters, Catherine DiAmbrosio, Palma DeSandro, and Rose Kelly.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in her memory to the Brushton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Arrangements are with Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc., Malone, NY.
