— LEWIS Randall "Randy" Thomas Forbes, 63, of Lewis, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 10 in Atlanta, Ga. He was born Oct. 1, 1949, at Georgetown Hospital in Washington, DC to Thomas Jules Forbes, and Cecilia (Davis)

After attending the University of Maryland, he achieved his dream of becoming an antique dealer and collector. As the owner of Pointe Antiques, he spent many years attending auctions and shows throughout the entire east coast.
Randy was an avid hiker and two-times Adirondack 46er. He also journeyed to Africa and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. He was very proud of his home in Lewis, but followed the lure of the sun and exotic treasures to Morocco and many other special places. Although he no longer lived there, he showed his native pride supporting Maryland home teams such as the Baltimore Orioles, and Ravens.
Randy is survived by his mother, Cecilia Forbes of Sun City, Fla.; a cousin, Janice Moss of Los Angeles, Calif., and long-time friend, Diane Sewell of Atlanta, Ga.
His friendship was highly valued by his family, friends, antique dealers, and auctioneers and he will be greatly missed.
A memorial procession from Randy's home in Lewis to Fields Antique Shop in Westport will be held at 10 a.m. On Tuesday, Nov. 20.
