HAGUE — Frederick Lance Spreemann, 64, of Hague, died on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at his residence.
Born in Mitchelfield, N.Y., on July 27, 1947, he was the son of the late Frederick C. Spreemann and Irene E. (Tricka) Spreemann Ostrander, who survives him, of Hague. The Spreemann family moved to Hague, when Frederick was a toddler. He was raised in Hague and was a graduate of the Hague Central High School. Mr. Spreemann lived in Mass. before returning to Hague.
He was employed in Sales for the Kenney Manufacturing Co. in Warwick, R.I., and also as a Department Manager of Wal-Mart of Ticonderoga.
He enjoyed listening to music. He was an avid fisherman and made friends easily, wherever he went. Most importantly, Lance loved the Lord with his heart and soul.
He was pre-deceased by his father, and also by his step father, George A. Ostrander.
Survivors in addition to his mother, include his two children, Heather Splaine and her husband Gerald "Sonny" of South Bridge, Mass. and Paula LaDeau and her husband Ken of Crown Point; his uncle, Arthur Tricka of Hague; and four grandchildren, James LaDeau, Ken LaDeau, Gerald Splaine III, and Hadleigh Splaine. He is also survived by his fiancee, Donna Wilson.
Relatives and friends may call 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Bolstridge and the Rev. Robert Fortier will officiate. Burial will follow at the family plot of the May Memorial Cemetery of Hague.
