WILLSBORO — Mary Lou Mason, 77, of Willsboro, died at the Horace Nye Home in Elizabethtown, Friday Feb.22, 2013.
She was born in Binghamton, N.Y., on June 3, 1935, the daughter of Fred A. and Ruth (Edwards) Mason.
She retired from CVPH after 25 years, working as a CNA and OR technician. She also worked for Mountain Lakes Services after her formal retirement. Mary Lou was a very active member of the Willsboro United Methodist Church and choir, as well as a member of the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Joann Mason and her children, Joan Hubbard, Tim (Becky) Sheehan, Richard Mason Jr. and Ruth Mason; a cousin, Jean Leonessa; a nephew and family, Mark and Amy Knickerbocker and son Fred; nieces Melinda Knickerbocker, Zoe Hill, and Fern Knickerbocker Degon and son Kenny.
Mary Lou was predeceased by her brother, Richard Mason; and her sisters, Dawn Mason and Eva Mae Knickerbocker; and her brother-in-law, Fred Knickerbocker.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be announced and held at a future date. Huestis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
