MINEVILLE — Elmer Joseph Moulton of Mineville, N.Y., passed away Tuesday Oct. 2, 2012, in the loving arms of his wife and stepdaughter after a long, hard battle with Cancer. He was born in Addison, Vermont on Oct. 29, 1941, the son of Gerald and Ada (Wilcox) Moulton.
Elmer worked at Monument dairy farm in Weybridge Vt. for many years. Elmer was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling. His passion for the outdoors was passed on to his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Crowe Moulton of Mineville, N.Y.; his brother, Leo Moulton and wife Debby of East Middlebury Vt.; two sisters, Doris Bougor of Bridport Vt., and Cyndi Moulton of Phoenix Ariz; two sons, Steven Moulton and wife Penny of Salisbury Vt., and Michael Moulton and wife Hope of Salisbury Vt.; two stepdaughters, Tara Ploof and husband Wyatt of Salisbury Vt., and Darcie Goff with husband Kevin Goff Jr. of Morrisonville, N.Y., and many grandchildren and step-grandchildren that he loved dearly, Special friends Leo and Theresa Trombley of Mineville, N.Y.
Predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Ada Moulton; two brothers, Searle and Gerald (Hap) Moulton and special friend Ernest Crowe.
Special thanks to the caring, compassionate staff at Evergreen Valley Nursing home in Plattsburgh, N.Y., Special mention to the nurses Jamie Mitchell and Carrie Rabideau that were present at the end.
Per request of Elmer there will be no calling hours, but there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
