Robert M. Rennie

KEESEVILLE — Robert M. Rennie, 45, of Liberty Street, Keeseville, died Sunday, August 26, 2012, in Keeseville. He was born in Plattsburgh, April 14, 1967, the son of Robert J. Rennie and Vaida (Fay) Rennie. Robert graduated from AuSable Valley Central School in June, 1986.

Robert worked as a carpenter and roofer with various construction companies since graduation and also owned and operated Rennie Construction and also worked for Security Concepts.

He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his two daughters, spending time with family and friends and his two best friends, Pete Laundry and Dave King both of Keeseville.

Survivors include his two daughters, Morgan and Mackenzie Rennie; father, Robert J. Rennie and wife Karen of Fern Lake; mother, Vaida (Fay) Rennie of Peru; brothers, Michael R. Rennie and companion Christine of Peru and Michael Rennie and Stephanie of Peru; three sisters, Lori Rennie of Morrisonville, Sheila Brown and husband Glen of Keeseville, and Julie Cookingham and husband Walter of Plattsburgh; aunt and uncle, Barbara and Arthur Pratt of Witherbee; cousins, Arthur and Dusti Pratt of Witherbee, Lia Pratt of Port Henry, Carrie and Steven Popp of Witherbee, Mary Ellen and James Panullo of Conn., and Robert John and Alise Fay of Conn.; special friends, Robin and Mike Myatt of Keeseville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his uncle, Clarence Fay; and his long time companion, Michelle Blaise, November 15, 2008.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 30, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Mooers Forks Union Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to an education fund for Roberts daughters and mailed to Vaida Rennie, 4 Apple Valley Drive, Apt. D4, Peru, NY 12972.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru.
