KEESEVILLE — Robert Henry Leclerc, passed away peacefully at his home in Keeseville, N.Y., on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013. Patti, his wife of 50 years, was at his bedside.
Robert, 73, was born to the late Henry and Hazel Leclerc on June 22, 1939.
Robert, who was better known to family and friends as Bob, was raised in upstate New York, where he spent almost his entire life. He and Patti raised their four children, Keith, Tammy, Shane, and Scott in Keeseville, in the homes that Bob built. Bob loved spending time with family and friends, hunting, and working in the woods around his home. Bob treated everyone as a friend and was known for his great sense of humor.
Robert is survived by his loving family; wife, Patricia; daughter, Tammy Pohl and husband Nick; son, Shane Leclerc and wife Tina, and son, Scott Leclerc and wife Stephanie. He had six grandchildren, Alisa, Sam, Elizabeth, Dylan, Edgar, and Hazel. He is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents; Robert was predeceased by his son, Keith; and sisters, Glenda and Gayle.
Services will be held at Thwaits-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, 3 College Street, Au Sable Forks, NY. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27th. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28th, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Holy Name Cemetery. A reception following the services will be at American Legion Post 504, 11 McCrea St., Au Sable Forks.
