Geraldine V. Parker

CHAMPLAIN — Geraldine V. Parker, 82, of Perry Mills passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family at her side.

She was born in Champlain, Nov. 20, 1930. She was the daughter of George and Edith (Meseck) Phaneuf. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed doing things for her family.

Geraldine is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Frank Parker Sr.; three brothers, Floyd Phaneuf, Ross Phaneuf, and Joseph Phaneuf; she is also predeceased by two sisters, Lorena Guerin, and Pauline LaPort.

Survivors include four sons, Randall Phaneuf of Champlain, Donald Phaneuf of Champlain, Frank Parker Jr. of Champlain, David Parker of Springfield, Mass.; three grandchildren, Josh Parker and his fiance, Dana Pickering, Jonathan Parker, Brianna Parker; one great-grandchild, Wyatt Parker; three brothers, Kenneth Phaneuf of Champlain, Aurel Phaneuf of Champlain, Kurt Phaneuf of Champlain and two sisters, Joyce Coupal of West Chazy and Lorna Coupal of Champlain.

Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Champlain EMS.

He was born on Burnt Hill near Saranac on June 15, 1923, the son of Hubert and Dora (Clancy) Downs. Dan was raised on Burnt Hill, and lived and worked in the area. He married Marion Macey on April 29, 1946, and lived on Burnt Hill until they built a home in Keeseville in 1960.
