Stacie M. Hogan

KEESEVILLE — Stacie M. Hogan, 24, of Hollywood Avenue, Keeseville, died at home, Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, with her loving fianc, Charlie, by her side. Stacie fought a lengthy and courageous battle with Ewing's sarcoma.

She was born in Plattsburgh, May 27, 1988, the daughter of Steven M. Hogan and Angela M. (Duprey) Hogan. She grew up in Peru and graduated from AuSable Valley Central School in 2008, completed the culinary arts program at CV-Tech, and attended Clinton Community College. She was employed at Taco Bell in Champlain Centre for several years and had worked her way to the position of supervisor.

Stacie modeled for the local bridal show to benefit Make-A-Wish. As a teenager she attended Camp Ta-Kum-Ta and had aspired to be a counselor. She loved all animals especially frogs.

Survivors include her fianc, Charles A. Estes Jr. of Keeseville; her mother, Angela Hogan and fianc, Patrick Fountain of Peru; her father and step-mother, Steven and Penney Hogan of Dannemora; two sisters, Victoria Hogan and fianc, Michael Blake of Plattsburgh, and Marissa Hogan and companion, Alan King of Peru; one brother, Christopher Hogan of Peru; two nieces, Reagan and Ashelynn Blake; maternal grandparents, Myra and Clifford Duprey of Beekmantown; paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Michael and Jean Hogan of Olena, N.Y.; one uncle, Larry Hogan and companion, Diane Prell of Plattsburgh; three aunts, Lillie Thompson of Morrisonville, Elisa Duprey-McKeen and husband, Dale of Beekmantown, and Joan Musselman and husband, Michael of Pa.; four cousins, Erica, Leanna and Alan Thompson and Andrew Duprey-McKeen; parents-in-law, Zanna and Charles Estes Sr. of Keeseville; and brother-in-law, Francis Estes and companion, Amy of Keeseville.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Evelyn (Atwood) Hogan; and two cousins, Andrew McKeen, and Amanda McKeen.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 in the West Chazy Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to her family to be dispersed at their discretion.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru.
