Marion E. Beede

ELIZABETHTOWN — Marion E. Beede, 88, of Park Street in Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 13, 1924. Daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Esperence) Nolette.

Marion worked for Essex County for 28 years retiring from the Horace Nye Nursing Home in Elizabethtown. She enjoyed Shopping, fellowship at her church and traveling.

Marion is survived one son, James Phillips and his wife Betty of Westport; and two grandchildren. She is also survived by many close friends.

Calling Hours will be from 9 to 11 A.M. Saturday Dec.1, at W.M. Marvins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. In the Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery in Keene.

He married Marion Macey on April 29, 1946, and lived on Burnt Hill until they built a home in Keeseville in 1960.
