PLATTSBURGH — Victoria J. Guyette, 84, South Catherine Street, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Medical Center.
She was born in Nanticoke, Pa. on April 26, 1928, the daughter of Maryanna Kazlowski.
Victoria married Harold Guyette on Nov. 27, 1948 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. She was a member of OLV Church and a former member of the Altar Rosary Society. Victoria enjoyed playing bingo and scratch off tickets.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Guyette of Plattsburgh; two daughters and a son-in-law, Catherine and Robert Biggs of Plattsburgh, Mary Ann Liebschutz of Concord, Calif.; three grandchildren, Renee Vinciarelli, Trevor Liebschutz, Anna Liebschutz; two great-grandchildren, Brittnay Kirbyson, Thomas Kirbyson; one sister, Genevieve Wiley of Baltimore, Md.; a sister-in-law, Helena Alger of Plattsburgh.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Guyette; a son John Guyette; and a sister, Helen Sadowski.
Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
Donations may be made in Memory of Victoria to St. Jude's Hospital.
