PUTNAM STATION — Daniel J. Harris, 58, of Putnam Station, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Born in Ticonderoga, Nov. 19, 1954, he was the son of the late Roy and Marie M. (Gregory) Harris.
Daniel was a lifelong resident of Ticonderoga and Putnam Station. He was a 1972 graduate of Ticonderoga High School.
Dan was an antique dealer whose specialty was advertising and automobilia.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary S. (Samascott) Harris; his son, J. D. Harris of Wilton; one sister, Diane Hart and husband Kevin of Putnam Station and their children, Ada Hunsdon and her husband Jimmy of Crown Point, Abby Braunius and her husband Matt of North Hudson, and Adam Hart and his companion Lynn of Fuera Bush; two great-nieces, Kelsey Hunsdon and Kara Hunsdon; and one great-nephew, Kyle Hunsdon. Other survivors include a son, Daniel M. Harris of Crown Point; two brothers, Greg Harris and his wife Roxanne and Todd Harris and his wife Tami, both of Putnam Station, and their children.
Relatives and friends may call from 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.
