WILMINGTON — Kathleen Precise Rielly Ward, 47, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, after a lengthy and courageous bout with cancer. She was surrounded by her immediate family and several of her many close friends.

She first worked in the restaurant field, managing the Saranac Inn Golf Course. There under the tutelage of the Golf Pro she became an avid golfer. She was then an agent for the Prudential Insurance Company. After her marriage to William Ward Jr. she helped managed their business Ward Forest Management.
She married William Ward Jr. Jan. 9, 1999, in Wilmington, and they resided on Bonnie View Road.
