WOODSTOCK, GA. — Mrs. Melonie Ann "Sam" Tetreault, 59, of Woodstock, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 with her husband at her side in the Kindred Hospital, Rome, Ga.
"Sam" was born in Stuttgart, Germany to Dick and Joyce Shields. The daughter of a "military man" she had the privilege of growing up in many different areas of the world. She was a 1971 graduate of Rome Free Academy High School in Rome, N.Y. and attended Morrisville Community College. She worked for several years with the O'Shea Law Firm and for the Defense Department as an Executive Secretary. Mrs. Tetreault and her husband have made their home in Woodstock for the last 25 years.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband of forty years, Gary Patrick Tetreault of Woodstock; mother, Joyce Gallaher Shields of Rome, N.Y.; brothers, Dustin Shields of Rome, N.Y., Daniel Shields and his wife Lisa of Saratoga Springs, Fla.; brother-in-law, Lawrence Tetreault and his wife Sue of Bradenton, Fla.; Nieces and Nephews, Josh, Adam, Zach, Kayla, Sam, Danielle, Nick and Carolyn; other relatives and loving friends.
A private Memorial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Coopersville, N.Y.
