TICONDEROGA — Helen T. Fleming 101, of Ticonderoga, passed away on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at her residence. Born in Ticonderoga, Feb. 6, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Elizabeth (DuRose) Johnson.
Helen was a lifelong Ticonderoga resident and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Cross of Ticonderoga.
She was pre-deceased by her three husbands, Wayne Trombley, William Fleming and Rev. Arthur Bagley. She was also pre-deceased by her daughter, Dawn Trombley Mars; two brothers, Richard Johnson and Milo Johnson; and one sister, Lorine Bovee.
Survivors include one daughter, Paula LaPorte of Middleburgh, N.Y. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren; and one niece, Doris Jean Simmons.
A private funeral service will take place Thursday, Feb. 21. A graveside service will take place at a later date at the Valley View Cemetery of Ticonderoga.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.
