Marion Louise Mousseau

PLATTSBURGH — Marion Louise Mousseau, known to friends and family as 'Mim' passed away on Dec. 23, 2012 at CVPH after an extended illness.

Mim was born in Fairfield, Pa., on June 6, 1931, and grew up in historic Gettysburg. The Gettysburg National Military Park was her childhood stomping ground and became a much-loved destination for family trips.

Her mother and father, Carrie Spangler and Clyde Musselman and her beloved brother Dale Musselman predeceased Mim.

Mim retired from the Northern New York Center in 1995 as an Administrative Specialist and in her retirement, enjoyed babysitting for her only grandson, Noah. Mim loved to dance and she loved to read and she passed many hours reading fiction crime thrillers and suspense novels. Mim also deeply cared for animals and that was an important value she passed on to her own family.

Mim is survived by her children, Penny Trombley, Kim Mousseau and Michael Mousseau. She is also survived by her grandson, Noah Trombley, her treasured companion cat, Katie as well as many Musselman cousins and nephews.

Mim will be remembered as a Mother and friend and as someone who remained forever "young at heart."

In keeping with her wishes there will be a simple memorial service at 2 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh on Saturday, Dec. 29. Donations in her memory can be made to the Adirondack Humane Society.

The family extends gratitude and thanks to the nursing and supportive care staff at CVPH.

Online condolences may be made to www.rwwalkerfh.com.

Arrangements are in care of the R. W. Walker Funeral Home 69 Court St. Plattsburgh.
