CROWN POINT — Tammie Lee Douglass of 14 Shoshana Drive, Crown Point, died suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012.
Born in Ticonderoga, on May 2, 1968, she was the daughter of Elmer G. Harper Jr. "Sonny" and Suzanne Tompkins Harper of Crown Point.
Tammie grew up in Crown Point and graduated from Crown Point Central School.
Tammie enjoyed time with family and friends and helping others. She was a volunteer at Second Blessings in Crown Point.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Tara Suzanne Peryer. She is survived by her parents; husband Chester Douglass; and two sons, Michael John Peryer and Ryan Joseph Peryer; her sister Debbie Lemery and husband Lester Lemery; and brother Roy Harper and wife Katie; also several nieces and nephews.
Services are being held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the First Congregational Church at 7 Park Ave., Crown Point. There will be a gathering following services at the Crown Point Fire Department. on Main Street. Arrangements are through the direction of the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry.
