MALONE — Well-known news reporter, Neil T. Drew, died Jan. 30, 2013, at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, Vt. He was born in Newport, Vt., Feb. 24, 1941, the son of Milton W. and Pearl Tabor Drew.
In 2009, he married Darlene (Tennyson) Dana-Drew, who survives him. Also surviving are his daughter, Kimberly DeMattio and his granddaughter Amanda DeMattio of Colchester, Vt.; a stepson, Michael Dana of Mt. Laurel, N.J.; a brother, Darryl Drew and his wife Rita of Scotia, N.Y.; a nephew, Dennis Drew and his wife Karen, and their son Leo of Rochester, N.Y.; a niece, Mrs. Laurinda Drew (Scott) Halliday, and their children Bryan and Jennifer, all of Clifton Park, N.Y.; his brother-in-law, Lowell and his wife Cherrill Tennyson of Malone; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Margo Tennyson and husband Chris Sttromer.
A private prayer service has been planned for the family. The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Spaulding Funeral Home, 530 East Main St., Malone, NY.
