MINEVILLE — Lisa Rae Sprague, 48, of Mineville, passed away on Jan. 13, 2013, at Elizabethtown Community Hospital, with her family by her side.
Lisa was born on Dec. 14, 1964, at Elizabethtown Hospital. She is the daughter of Donald and Patricia Sprague. Her niece Stacey Anderson and her best friend Becky Sheppard were with her 24/7 the last seven days of her life.
Lisa is predeceased by her Paternal Grandparents, Lloyd and Eleanor Sprague; her Maternal Grandparents, Elmer and Ruth Mitchell; and two uncles, Phil and Gerald Mitchell.
She is survived by her parents, Donald and Patricia Sprague; her daughter, Aubrey Armell; her siblings, Lynn Anderson, Kevin Sprague, Karen Hammond, David Sprague, Dale Sprague; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
Lisa is known for her sense of humor and her courage, fighting Multiple Sclerosis for over 28 years. Her father said, "She was, and is, my Hero"
There will be no calling hours per Lisa's request.
Donations can be made in Lisa's memory to the SPCA and/or the Moriah Ambulance Squad.
Arrangements are with the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry, N.Y.
