ELLENBURG DEPOT — Veronica R. Trombley, 78, formerly of Ellenburg Depot, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home in Stamford, N.Y. She was born July 27, 1934, in the town of Clinton.
She loved to cook. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Veronica was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Rose (Lagree) Soucia; her husband, Herbert Trombley, who passed away Jan. 8, 1998; one grandchild; and a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Olive Soucia.
Survivors include two sons, David Trombley and his wife Lynda of Middleburgh, N.Y., Danny Trombley and his wife Holly of Middleburgh; four daughters, Diana Keysor and her husband Calvin of North Blenheim, N.Y., Linda Ryan and her husband Terry of Ellenburg Depot, Peggy Kennison and her husband Monroe of Schoharie, N.Y., Cathy Savage and her husband Carl of Fultonham, N.Y.; two brothers and sisters-in- law, Gerald and Jean Soucia, James and Debbie Soucia; two sisters, Janet King and Shirley Cole; a brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Floyd and Dorothy Trombley, Elnora Smith and Ether Trombley. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Ross Funeral Home in Ellenburg Depot. Arrangements are in the care of the Ross Funeral Home, 5059 Route 11, Ellenburg Depot.
