KEESEVILLE — Robert J. "Bobby" Lattrell, 63, of State Route 22, Keeseville, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the North Country.
He was born in Keeseville, June 5, 1949, the son of William V. and Catherine E. (Lavalette) Lattrell.
Bobby was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, hanging poolside and BBQ's. He also enjoyed cruising, people watching, family vacations, and cooking.
He was a member of the Disney Hunting club and a past member of the Keeseville Fire Department.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Joanne R. (Mussen) Lattrell, whom he married Nov. 11, 1972, at the Keeseville United Methodist Church; son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Crystal Lattrell and their children, Brady and Bailey, all of Keeseville; daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and William Boyce of Peru; son and daughter-in-law, Tanner and Monica Lattrell and their daughter, Avery, all of Keeseville; sisters, Janice Cooley and husband John, Loretta Rose, and Joan "Jill" Wood and husband Richard; brother, Alfred "Skip" Lattrell and wife Margaret; Terry Ashline and husband Randy; sisters-in-law, Ann Lattrell, Maureen Lattrell, and Julie Lattrell; Bobby's "girlfriend" (as he fondly and humorously referred to her), Erika Kollinger; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father in 1953; mother in 2004; brothers, Edwin Bucky (1990), John Jack (2000), and William (2012).
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Keeseville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Edie A. Poland, officiating.
