Lucille A. Wilson

PLATTSBURGH, — Lucille A. Wilson, 80, of Prospect Avenue, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Chazy on May 20, 1932, the daughter of Valmore and Alma (Corbierre) Guay.

Lucille worked as an operator for Bell Telephone for 30 years, retiring in the early 1980s. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and anything to do with gambling, pools, the casino, playing poker, and pinochle. She also enjoyed winning.

Survivors include many caring nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin ''Lefty'' Wilson in 1983, daughter, Melanie Wilson in Aug. of this year, and 12 brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held at 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home with a funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center. Arrangements are with the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
