CHAMPLAIN — Linda Rose Marie LaCount, 63, of Church Street, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Fletcher Allen Heath Care in Burlington, Vt. She was born in Champlain on Oct. 28, 1949, a daughter of the late Adolphus and Lucille (Jarvis) LaCount. Linda was a life resident of Champlain.
She enjoyed being at home playing games on her computer, watching her favorite television shows, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved her orange lazy cat who lounged with her on many occasions at home.
Survivors include her fianc^, Warren Mashtare of Champlain; her daughters, Penny LaPier and husband Charlie of Mooers and Nicole Bushey and husband Jason of Altona; her son, Brad Bosley and companion Jamie of Swanton, Vt.; her grandchildren, Jordan, McKenna, Brayden and Chloe; her sisters, Theresa Ero, Gloria Hart and husband Harvey, and Carol Duquette, all of Champlain; and her brother, John LaCount and wife Joan of Rouses Point. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Russell LaCount; and a brother-in-law, David Ero.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm St., Champlain, NY. Prayer services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with Deacon Noel Hinerth officiating.
