— LAKE PLACID -Patricia T. Smith, age 80, of Lake Placid, N.Y., passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at Adirondack Medical Center in Lake Placid. Mrs. Smith was born July 28, 1932 in New York, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Attracta Timmins. She was the wife of Philip D. Smith.
Mrs. Smith had worked at Howard Johnson's Restaurant in Lake Placid, N.Y., retiring in the late 1980s. She enjoyed reading and was a member of the Adirondack Red Hatters Club in Lake Placid and enjoyed many luncheons with her friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jan. 07, 2001.
She is survived by one son, Philip Smith and his wife Roberta of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, BeBe Bickford and her husband Randy of Lake Placid, N.Y., and Joanne Patnode of Chazy, N.Y; one daughter-in-law, Ok-Yo Sthair and her husband Vince of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; she is also survived by her sister, Barbara Rudolph and her husband Joseph of Canoga Park, Calif; nine grandchildren, Daniel and RJ Bickford, Philip D. and Harrison Smith, Cameron and Siobhan Patnode, Stephen Bickford, Jayson and Christine Sthair and two great-grandchildren Xavier and Xander Bickford.
Calling hours will be held from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Thursday, Nov. 15th at the M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home, 2310 Saranac Ave, Lake Placid, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Friday, Nov 16th at St. Agnes Church, Lake Placid, N.Y. Rev. John Yonkovig will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
