PLATTSBURGH — Mary "Betty Guynup" Kendrick, of South Peru Street in Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving daughters by her side. She was born the only daughter of Charles and Ethel (St. Claire) Guynup.
Betty enjoyed cooking, crafting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Faye Fountain (Glenn), Judy Kendrick; her brothers, Donald, Bill (Doris) Guynup, Jim (Wanda) Guynup, Gene (Sharron) Guynup, John (Theresa) Guynup; grandchildren, John Tyndall (Jessica), Jeromy Stone, Jessica LaValley; great-grandchildren, Charlee, Madox, Toni, Kyle and Kennedi; her "special kids" Carol Macey, Tammy Gebo and Doug Duquette.
Betty was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Charles, Peter, Gerald and Bernard; her sister-in-law, Geraldine and long time companion, Bob Coxey.
In accordance with Betty's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Entombment will be at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be offered to the American Diabetes Association.
