Theresa A. Seaver

PLATTSBURGH — Theresa A. Seaver, 66, of Cubb Circle died Monday, March 4, 2013, at CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Plattsburgh on March 29, 1946, the daughter of Leeward and Genevieve (Matott) Hemingway.

Mrs. Seaver attended Chazy Central Rural School. She married William "Bill" Seaver Sr. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh in 1964.

Mrs. Seaver was a nanny for Greg and Ilene Fessette for 22 years and later was a customer service agent at Northern Cake's Redemption Center for 6 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mills.

Survivors include her husband, William; one son, William Seaver Jr. of Plattsburgh; two daughters, Laurie Garrow and her husband Donald of Plattsburgh and Joyce Seaver-Bosley and her husband Kevin of Chazy; seven sisters, Carolyn Bouchard and her husband George and Linda Croft and her companion Joseph Coupal all of Plattsburgh, Barbara Hoover and her husband Norman and Juanita Duprey all of Champlain, Deborah Duval and her husband Samuel of Peru, Kathleen LaPier of Schuyler Falls and Robin Collins of Va.; two sisters-in-law, Janet Hemingway of Champlain and Cindy Hemingway of Peru; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Lee Seaver; three brothers, Leeward, Orville and Jimmy Hemingway; and one sister, Hazel Hemingway.

There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St Alexander's Church in Morrisonville, followed by a gathering in the parish hall. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in W. Chazy at a later date.

Donations, in her memory, may be made to the FitzPatrick Cancer Center at CVPH Medical Center.
