AU SABLE FORKS — Gerald A. (Jerry) Hart, 62, passed away Feb. 25, 2013, at the CVPH Medical Center.
Gerald was born on Nov. 10, 1950, the son of Mose and Sarah (Bashaw) Hart.
He is survived by one daughter, Kerri and her husband Phil Bedard of Peru, N.Y.; a son, Jason Gerald Hart of Texas; and a grandson, Luke; his siblings and their wives and husbands, Sandra and Brent Coryer of Rochester, N.Y., Shelia and Neil Ford of Clintonville, N.Y., Sherry and Daniel White of Peru, N.Y., Patricia and Gerard Raymond of Keeseville, N.Y., Michelle and Edward Gareau of Syracuse, N.Y., Dale and Marion Hart of Keeseville, N.Y., Kevin and Vickie Hart of Au Sable Forks, N.Y. Tim and Judy Hart of Au Sable Forks, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Cindy Hart of Au Sable Forks, N.Y.; Sandy Hart, Jerry's former wife.
Jerry was predeceased by his mom, Sadie and father, Mose Hart; brothers, Ralph, Wilcott, and Eric.
Jerry's love of people, children and animals was known to all who came in contact with him and like to help others.
He is in the arms of his beloved Lord. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, with Rev. Kris Lauzon officiating at the Thwaits Zaumetzer Funeral Home. Burial will follow North Jay Cemetery. Donations may be in memory of Jerry to the Au Sable Forks Ambulance Service.
