WEST CHAZY — Pauline T. "Theresa" James, 75, of the LaPlante Road, West Chazy, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at the CVPH Medical Center, with her family by her side.
She was born in Plattsburgh on June 22, 1937, the daughter of Wilfred and Agnes (Fountain) Rivers.
Theresa worked as a nurse's aide at the Clinton County Nursing Home. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Theresa was a member of St. Joseph's Church, West Chazy.
She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Lester C. Aylward Sr.; her second husband, Robert James; her twin brothers, Peter and Paul Rivers.
Theresa is survived by a son, Lester C. "Les" Aylward Jr. and his fianc^, Chyerlene Upton of West Chazy; three grandchildren, Brad Aylward, Christina Aylward and Rob Gallagher III; a great-granddaughter, Emma Aylward; her siblings, Barbara Brannon and her husband, Dan of Fla., Howard Rivers and his wife, Betty of West Chazy, Shirley Grimes and her husband, Ken of Tenn.; several nieces and nephews also survive her.
Calling hours and funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Chazy.
