ALBANY — Michael J. Clark Sr., 73, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at home. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Michael and Gertrude Bowman Clark.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. Dad graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1957. He was a retired longtime custodian for the Albany City School District and a member of the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post.
He was the longtime companion of Debbie Rogan; beloved father of Kathleen A. Polec (Philip), Donna J. Bortle (Robert); and Michael J. Clark Jr. (Jeanette); grandfather of Megan and the late Zane.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 18, at from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany, thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 10:30 a.m., where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, March 17, in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
